My name is Garrett Polk and I appreciate your stopping by my website. I am a born again Christian, a family man, and an outdoorsman who loves to work with my hands to create things. In 2015, with the help and encouragement of friends and family, I began working towards the goal of making my own knives.  While I have been fortunate to be mentored by quite a number of well known and exceptional knifemakers, Daniel Koster was the largest influence for me in teaching me how to make knives.  The majority of the knives that I make are fixed blade designs related to the outdoors because of my lifelong passion for the outdoors.  Fall is my favorite time of the year to be outside.  Here in Arkansas that is the prime time for hiking, camping, hunting, and fishing.  Between my pursuit of the outdoors and the holidays during fall – early winter, the volume of my knife production seems to consistently be slower than at other times of the year.  I try hard to enter the fall season with a few blades in stock on my Available Now page.

I am a full time occupational therapist, specializing in pediatrics. Making knives and custom leathercraft at night and on the weekends is a way for me to change gears, relax, be creative, and work with my hands. Colossians 3:17 reminds us of the importance of glorifying the Lord in everything we do. With this in mind, a portion of all sales will be given to Christian organizations and efforts. My preferred non-profit organization to donate to is St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, although I have supported other Christian organizations as well.  In addition to this, I offer a gift Bible free of charge upon request with any order.
